OCTOBER 17TH

WIND - 18mph SW letting down to 5mph at dark
WEATHER - 48º
LOCATION - 93, Kill Plot
SIGHTINGS - 1 Young doe

NOTES - One young doe entered early, I believe it to be he one Rex was chasing as she was light colored, immature , and alone. She eventually saw us and left and returned 30 mins later and blew to make me happy.

OCTOBER 16TH (PM)

WIND - 9mph NW
WEATHER - 48º
LOCATION - 116 (Route 20 Pinch)
SIGHTINGS - 4 does & 1 Young buck
NOTES - Another one for the Ozonics. We had a two year old buck come in downwind of us pretty early and worked his way down to the creek. He tried and tried to get our wind and ended up working back up but never caught our wind. A little later a doe came in down wind and I attempted a shot but had her duck the string and only got a little of her back. *thumbs down*

OCTOBER 12TH (PM)

WIND - 10mph ESE
WEATHER - 58º
LOCATION - East Dicks
SIGHTINGS - 10 or so does coming to corn.
NOTES - We had the perfect wind to scoot in close to what we believe is Tuckers bedroom. A late start got that ball rolling down the wrong hill. As we pushed in, two does from the field to the north of us must've heard us and came in to check it out which turned into a 20 minute stare down and an almost possible shot opportunity. Just when we thought we had stayed still enough they blew. By then it's was 5pm. We opted to sit the field edge in some thicket, which almost produced but in the end we were busted twice. One doe came to 30 and I drew on her but needed a few more steps. It was an action packed evening but not enough to fill the truck!

OCTOBER 11TH

WIND - 15mph ENE
WEATHER - 58º
LOCATION - 93 Hardwoods
SIGHTINGS - A couple fawns came through which we mentioned were the same two we'd been capturing on camera because they still had spots. Observed at least one deer moving East on the main trail that spits out by the Oak. In the end it made us think it might be beneficial to move the stand closer to the intersection.
NOTES - Bumped a deer coming in.

OCTOBER 6TH

IMG_7484.JPG

WIND - 4mph SW
WEATHER - 71º
LOCATION - Paris Hardwoods
SIGHTINGS - A doe group of about 7 moved through from East to West around 6:20 moving toward cut corn.
NOTES - This sit was quite the cluster but in the end paid off with the does moving in. We were spotted by the 3rd doe in which started the downfall of the situation. Lead doe was oblivious but did not present a shot. This was the night Ozonics seemed to really prove itself as 5 does moved down wind of us and never responded.
